The Bulldogs grabbed a win, 4-1, at Cavalry Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from St. Louis pitcher Matt Davis. Davis went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. Jesus Garcia snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-0 on the season. Matt Davis suffered the loss. Ryan Perkins recorded the save, his 1st.

Hamilton used the hitting of Adrian Fekety to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Bulldogs on top, 3-1. For the game, Fekety had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
