Capitols Suffer One-Run Loss at Hamilton
Hamilton first baseman Andres Vega was a significant contributor in his team's 3-2 triumph over the Augusta Capitols. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Bulldogs. Justin Weil collected save number 1. The loss puts Augusta at 5-4.

The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from right fielder Brett Cortright. For the game, Cortright went 2 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Hamilton a 3-2 lead.

"That's how you're going to be successful," said Bulldogs manager Emmanuel Montano. "It starts with pitching and it will always be pitching."
