Scorpions Lose to Capitols in Walk-Off
The Augusta Capitols faced a tough opponent in Sonoma pitcher Bill Mosher, but still scratched out a win at The Capitol Dome by a final score of 5-3 in 11 innings. Mosher went 8.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. Tim Kondas, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. The loss drops Sonoma to 3-2.

Augusta got a game-changing hit from Ben Hurt. The shortstop blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Hurt said.
