The Nightmare grabbed a win, 5-3, at Nightmare Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Halifax pitcher Joe Hart. Hart went 5.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Jeff Groves earned the save for New York, his 7th of the year. Halifax is now 16-12.

New York took a 4-3 lead on Nick Seago's 2nd triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Seago hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Halifax pitcher Jose Ojeda visibly frustrated.

New York manager Tyrone Hairston commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
