The Hialeah Firecats got a stellar effort from pitcher Dustin Richards, helping Hialeah score a win over the visiting Hamilton Bulldogs, 7-1. Hamilton falls to 3-2.

The Firecats got a big at-bat from right fielder Jeremy Callis. For the game, Callis was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Hialeah a 2-1 lead.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Richards.
