The Vermont Milkmen beat the Sonoma Scorpions in 11 innings at Emeralds Ballpark. The final score was 8-6, in favor of Vermont. Brian Roseman led the way, going 1-for-5 for the home team. Alberto Renteria earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. Sonoma, with the loss, is still a hardy 3-1.

Vermont got a clutch hit from Taiju Kusanagi. The catcher launched a 3-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"The key is not trying to do too much," said Roseman.
