At Nightmare Stadium, the New York Nightmare and Halifax Heathens were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Thanks in large part to right fielder Gustavo Orozco, the Halifax Heathens beat the New York Nightmare, 8-4. Orozco hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The winning pitcher was Nick McGettigan. His record now stands at 2-0. The right-hander went 6.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 10 hits for the Heathens. The save went to Miguel Soto, his 1st this season.

Halifax used the timely hitting of Dave DeSanto to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Heathens ahead, 6-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said DeSanto.

The win puts Halifax at 18-10.
