Josh Meeker of the Scorpions was unstoppable in his team's 7-0 victory over the Vermont Milkmen at Emeralds Ballpark. He battered them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.

"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Sonoma shortstop after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-5 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."

Josh Meeker doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Abel Viar in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off D.J. Elliott in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
