Perez Steers Stockton Past Boll Weevils, 4-2

Stockton pitcher Enrique Perez had a large part in his team beating the Miami Boll Weevils, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Casey Levy picked up his 2nd save of the season. The Ragin Cajuns, now 2-1, have been playing some good baseball.
The Boll Weevils had trouble solving Perez, who surrendered 1 run on 2 hits over 8 innings.
"We take it day by day here," said Perez, "and today was a good one for us."
