The Sonoma Scorpions picked up a win at Ballpark of North Richland Hills, taking down the Vermont Milkmen, 7-2. Starting pitcher Dave Kramer was a big reason why. Sonoma reliever Kevin McDonald picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jung-jun Pak was saddled with the loss. Sonoma goes to 2-1 with the win.

Gary Nahum hit a run-scoring triple off Glen Foster in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Scorpions in front, 2-1. Nahum had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Nahum.
