Milkmen Earn Clutch Win, 5-4
The Vermont Milkmen outlasted the Sonoma Scorpions, 5-4, in 10 innings. Armando Cuevas led the way, going 4-for-5 for Vermont. Vermont reliever Cidro Alvares picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Brad Williamson was saddled with the loss. Vermont has a record of 1-1.

Cuevas had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch curveball from Brad Williamson, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Milkmen a 5-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Cuevas.

"We found a way to get it done," Cuevas said.
