Tigers Take Tight Tangle
The London Tigers rode a solid performance from 26-year-old starting pitcher Jorge Salazar to a win, beating the Augusta Capitols, 2-1, at Ballpark of Oklahoma City. London reliever Devon Trimble picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Brent Stedronsky was tagged with the loss. With the loss, Augusta sinks to 0-2.

London got a knockout punch from D.J. Van Diest. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"I like our mental toughness," said London manager Ricardo Mundo.
