Bombardiers Spoil Opening Day for Ragin Cajuns, Their Fans
|
Opening day festivities have begun throughout the league. Fans of the Stockton Ragin Cajuns were eager to watch Casey Levy square off against Eddie Sarabia of the visiting Cincinnati Bombardiers. In the end, the Bombardiers won the game, 5-1, with Eddie Sarabia leading the way. Heath Johnston closed it out for his 1st save.
Cincinnati designated hitter Micah Clark contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the eighth. With two down, he hit a sinker to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 2nd hit of the season and put the Bombardiers ahead, 3-0.
"It feels good to get this one," Clark told the Cincinnati Chronicle.
