San Francisco turned a good effort from starter Kyle Griffin into a win over the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles at Leatherback Park. The Fire won the game, 5-1. Getting the save was Scott Hargraves, his 5th. The win moves San Francisco to a record of 11-17.

Jeff Mullinax had a big run-scoring triple for the Fire in the top of the first inning. With San Francisco leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a curveball from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Nate McClaskey and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fire ahead, 2-0.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Mullinax.
