O'Halloran K's 11 En Route to 2-1 Mountaineers Win
In a low-scoring affair between the Winchester Mountaineers and the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers, pitcher Ben O'Halloran was the difference between victory and defeat. The Winchester right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 2-1 Mountaineers win. Gilberto Cortez sewed up the save, his 10th. Winchester has now reeled off 8 straight wins.

O'Halloran tossed 90 pitches over 7.1 innings to clinch the win for the Mountaineers. The right-hander allowed just 2 hits, while racking up 11 strikeouts in the game.

"The guys come to the ballpark ready," said Mountaineers manager Mitchell Young. "They're going out there and doing the simple things right."
