The winning streak continued for Winchester.

Behind a fine performance from Jason Perrigin, the Winchester Mountaineers knocked off the Alcoa Millionaires, 8-3. Perrigin went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Mountaineers. Winchester reliever David Coleman picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Ronnie Miller was saddled with the loss.

With Winchester leading 3-1 in the bottom of the second, Perrigin hit a sinker from Ronnie Miller for a 3-run home run. It was his 31st home run of the season and put the Mountaineers ahead, 6-1.

"Jason is still learning," said Mountaineers manager Mitchell Young. "The sky's the limit for him."

The winning continues for Winchester, with the latest triumph making it 15 straight.
