Eskimo Brothers Earn 3-0 Road Win Over Boise
In a low-scoring contest between the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers and the Boise Dread Kings, Simon Scales, who is tied for 4th in the E-AA in wins with 11, proved to be the difference. The Encinitas right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-0 Eskimo Brothers win. Scales picked up the win for Encinitas, going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 11-2. Tom Haning notched his 12th save in 13 chances.

Encinitas won the game in part because of Paul Tetzloff. The first baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Eskimo Brothers ahead, 2-0. For the game, Tetzloff had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"Simon was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Encinitas manager John McKearney.

The Eskimo Brothers improved to a lofty 100-38.
