The Boise Dread Kings did just enough to secure a victory over the Aurora Suns, 2-1, in 10 innings at Suns Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Dan Presnell. Vince Mellon collected his 12th save. The third-place Dread Kings improved to 81-58.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Chris Van Noort? The 22-year old catcher Van Noort stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put Boise up, 2-1. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Van Noort.
