Dread Kings Rally to Nose Past Traverse City
The timely hitting of Alex Marquez helped the Boise Dread Kings take down the Traverse City Bears, 7-6, in 11 innings. Marquez went 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Dread Kings. The second-place Dread Kings now have a record of 82-57.

The Dread Kings procured the win, in large part because of first baseman Jake Willison. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Traverse City manager Jeff Lacher.
