Fernandez Homers Twice in 5-0 Millionaires Win
Billy Fernandez left his imprint on the 5-0 Alcoa win against the Traverse City Bears. Fernandez was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The win was credited to 22-year old right-handed pitcher Jim Burns in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Jose Mendoza took the loss.
