Wildthings Get Extra-Inning, 2-1 Win
Winchester got a terrific performance from pitcher Marty Capone, but it wasn't enough to beat the Washington Wildthings. Washington won the Mountaineers Park contest, 2-1. Capone threw 7.1 innings of 2-hit ball for the losing team. The Wildthings go to 30-105 with the win.

Capone gave opposing hitters fits all game. He allowed 2 hits in 7.1 innings while striking out 12 in a fine outing, but the Wildthings didn't give him much run support.
