Walker Powers Eagles to 9-1 Win
Eagles designated hitter T.J. Walker left his mark on his team's 9-1 win over the Syracuse Scorpions. Walker, who is rated as the 50th best prospect by BNN, was 4-4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times for Indianapolis in the contest. Indianapolis pitcher Billy Westcott earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Everett Treadwell suffered the loss. The Scorpions drop to 11-17, as their fitful start to the 2022 campaign continues.

Indianapolis catcher Javy Sanchez contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 6th hit of the season and put the Eagles ahead, 2-0.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Sanchez.
