The Fresno Running Rebels eked out a 3-2 win versus the Aurora Suns at Running Rebels Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Jim Unknown. He was terrific. Fresno reliever Jim Unknown picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Angel Pernillo was tagged with the loss. Fresno is now 48-87. Aurora is 61-74.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 2-2, designated hitter Mike Waddell won it for Fresno. With a runner on 2nd, Waddell hit a 2-0 cutter from Angel Pernillo for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 3-2 win.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Aurora manager Robby Carson.
