|
Winchester registered a win at Mountaineers Park by beating the Rohnert Park Cougars, 6-2. Pitcher Brian Treadway was one reason why the Mountaineers triumphed. With this game in the books, Winchester is 102-31, Rohnert Park 61-72.
The Mountaineers got a big at-bat from catcher Mike Hankins. For the game, Hankins went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Winchester a 3-0 lead.
