Mitchell Now 2-0 After Subduing Heathens
In a low-scoring contest between the New York Nightmare and the Halifax Heathens, J.R. Mitchell, who finished 2nd in the AC in innings pitched with 214.0 last year, proved to be the difference. The New York right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-0 Nightmare win. Tony Rosario closed it out for New York, earning his 8th save. New York sits at 12-16.

Mitchell gave New York a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 5 hits over 7.1 innings.

"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Mitchell. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
