Montreal Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
In the 4-3 Montreal win over Dallas, the impact of Erik Hansen was substantial. Hansen was 5 for 5 with a double and 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Montreal pitcher Josh McQuaid got the win. He's now 3-1. Rick Ways was tagged with the loss. The Dragons drop to 10-18.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Hansen hit a fastball from Rick Ways for a run-scoring double. The Maroons, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Hansen.
