Dread Kings Use Late Surge to Win
Getting offensive support from Alex Marquez, the Boise Dread Kings topped the Riverside Rotters, 7-5. Marquez went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Dread Kings. The win belonged to Robby Parra in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Ben Foster took the loss for Riverside. The Dread Kings now own a record of 79-55.

Roger Fana went 1-3 with a hit by pitch for Boise. With no one out and the game tied in the top of the ninth inning, Fana had a clutch at-bat. Facing Riverside hurler Ben Foster, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Dread Kings a 6-5 lead.
