Boise Dread Kings starter Nelson Martinez pitched his team past the Mescalero Chiefs, 3-2, in 10 innings. The winner in relief was Jordan Gaines. He is now 9-6. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. The third-place Chiefs have lost 7 consecutive games.

"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Mescalero manager Hunter Santiago. "We just didn't cash in."
