The Mesa Razor Sharks stopped the Alcoa Millionaires, 7-4, behind an impressive performance from John Richins. The 25-year old second baseman made life miserable for Alcoa pitching. He went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. Mesa reliever Josh Buxton was the winner. His record is now 6-4. The losing pitcher was Vince Silcox. The setback makes Alcoa 36-92.

Mesa got a clutch hit from Billy Veillette. The left fielder launched a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.
