Wildthings Pull Off Thrilling 6-3 Win in Extras
The Washington Wildthings and the Boise Dread Kings played into extra innings before the winner was determined. The Wildthings won it, 6-3, in 10 innings. In the game, Washington center fielder Mario Gonzalez was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win went to Alex Guzman in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Steve Wright took the loss. Washington, with the win, is 16-110.

Gonzalez had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 1-0 fastball from Steve Wright, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Wildthings a 6-3 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Gonzalez.

In postgame remarks, Gonzalez simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
