The Boise Dread Kings picked up a win at Ballpark of Boise, topping the Rohnert Park Cougars, 7-3. On the mound for Boise was right-hander Adam Matthews. He played a principal role in the triumph. With the win, Boise upped its record to 71-52.

Boise took the lead, 6-3, on Richard Cassidy's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Rohnert Park pitcher Jason Senita in the bottom of the seventh.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Boise manager Sean Drummond. "That's what Adam is right now."
