The Boise Dread Kings got a superb performance from pitcher Dan Presnell, but the Washington Wildthings still won the game, 3-2. Presnell threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Washington, with the win, sits at 38-84.
Washington took the lead, 3-2, on Jim Hall's 11th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Boise pitcher Jordan Gaines in the bottom of the eighth.
After the game, Washington manager Bob Platter applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
