Suns Field was the site of a true pitchers' duel.

The Libertyville Polecats eked out a 2-1 win versus the Aurora Suns at Suns Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Ruben Moralez. He was terrific. Libertyville reliever Harley Towle was the winner. His record is now 6-8. The losing pitcher was Kevin McGaha.

Libertyville used a clutch hit from George Hutchison to get the win. The third baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Polecats ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"We were in it," said Aurora manager Oscar Figeroa. "We just didn't score enough runs."

Libertyville is now 60-60.
