Eskimo Brothers Snatch Late-Game, 3-2 Win
|
The Encinitas Eskimo Brothers eked out a 3-2 win versus the Boise Dread Kings at Ballpark of Boise. Nobody did more than second baseman Quinn Petrilli. He was terrific. Danny Wagner picked up the save, his 9th. The first-place Eskimo Brothers have won 8 straight games.
Petrilli had a timely hit for Encinitas in the top of the eighth. With Encinitas trailing 2-1, he turned a 0-2 curveball into a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 3-2, Encinitas.
"I like our clubhouse vibe," said Encinitas manager Logan Greening.
