Riverside Rotters starter Kyle Rodriguez kept the Washington Wildthings hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. Kurt Neal closed it out for his 4th save. Riverside occupies second place in the Eastern AA Northern Division at 83-37.

The Rotters got an important contribution from catcher Chris Terry, who in the bottom of the third knocked a first pitch sinker to center for a run-scoring double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Rotters ahead, 2-0.

Terry called the win "an overall solid one."
