Cougars 3-1 Losers to Suns
In a low-scoring affair between the Aurora Suns and the Rohnert Park Cougars, pitcher Ramon Landa was the difference between victory and defeat. The Aurora left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-1 Suns win. The Suns improved their record to 70-47 by beating Rohnert Park.

The Cougars had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Suns going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old left fielder Alain Arnaud came to the plate. Arnaud hit a 2-run home run on a 2-0 fastball from Rohnert Park hurler Orlando Roque. It was Arnaud's 25th home run of the year.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Arnaud said.
