Riverside turned a fine outing from starter Pete Mead into a victory over the Traverse City Bears at Rotters Ballpark. The final score was 4-1. Ben Foster earned the save, his 22nd, for the Rotters. With this game in the books, Riverside is 70-48, Traverse City 45-73.

Traverse City had little success against Mead and his curveball. Mead tossed 113 pitches over 7.2 innings for the Rotters.

"Pete was in attack mode the whole game," said Riverside manager Adrian Mercado.
