Riding the 2-hit performance of the 20-year old first baseman Mark David, the Riverside Rotters stopped the Traverse City Bears, 5-2. Brian Bauer, now 2-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. Ben Foster collected save number 21.

David had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Jason Eppert, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Rotters a 5-2 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for David.

"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said David.

The Rotters saw their record improve to 69-48.
