Bears Use Late Surge to Win
|
The Traverse City Bears downed the Aurora Suns, 6-4, at Suns Field. Justin Carson led the way, going 1-for-1 for Traverse City. With the win, the Bears improved to 45-69.
Carson had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-2 slider from Carlos Diaz, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Bears a 6-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Carson.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Traverse City manager Zach Hildebrant.
