Garcia Goes Deep Twice in 7-6 Dread Kings Win

The Corpus Christi Mermen and Boise Dread Kings provided some drama for the home crowd.
In a tight contest at Ballpark of Boise, the Boise Dread Kings edged the Corpus Christi Mermen by the score of 7-6. Boise shortstop Albert Garcia, who blasted 2 home runs, was a key contributor. The winning pitcher was Aaron Lasco. His record now stands at 10-2. The left-hander went 5.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits for the Dread Kings.
Adam Tyndall, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2019 draft, aided the Boise cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 4.
"It all comes down to competing and our guys love to compete," said Dread Kings manager Sean Drummond.
Corpus Christi has now lost 4 straight.
