Bombs Away: Beauford Slams 4 Homers
The only thing better for Pete Beauford than hitting 4 home runs in a game would have been hitting them in a win.

Beauford put up a monster display of hitting for the Mesa Razor Sharks but had it spoiled when the Fresno Running Rebels pulled out the win, 9-7.

"Ten years from now," Beauford said, "I'll probably look back on this day with more satisfaction than I feel right now."

On his historic day at Running Rebels Ballpark, the Mesa left fielder belted 4 home runs and put up a 4-for-5 line. He scored 4 times and had 5 RBIs.

Pete Beauford flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jason Stoute in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jason Stoute in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Steve Sullivan in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jordan Clayton in the 9th.
