The Fresno Running Rebels and starting pitcher Mike Parker stifled the Mesa offense en route to a comfortable 8-2 win at Running Rebels Ballpark. Fresno is now 63-51, Mesa 66-48.

In the bottom of the third inning, third baseman Sean Woodcock had a 2-run home run for Fresno. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Running Rebels on top, 4-2.

"Mike is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Fresno manager Hunter Santiago.
