Mountaineers Lose By a Run at Traverse City
Pat Potter was in top form in a tight contest between Traverse City and Winchester. The Bears left-hander helped his team beat the Mountaineers, 1-0. Jason Eppert, credited with the win in relief, is now 4-7. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. Andrew Tanner closed the door for Traverse City, picking up his 11th save of the year.

Had Jayden Browne not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Browne hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 1-0, in favor of the Bears.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Mitchell Young. "That was the problem."

The Bears improved to 45-71.
