The skies opened up and the rain fell at Suns Field.
Starting pitcher Mark Garrett gave the Aurora Suns a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Washington Wildthings, 3-2, at Suns Field. Aurora has rattled off 4 straight wins.
Had Josh Kreisle not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Kreisle hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Suns.
