The Riverside Rotters got a good effort from starter Dan Woods in defeating the Fresno Running Rebels at Rotters Ballpark. The final score was 4-2. Dennis Cambridge earned the save for Riverside, his 10th of the year. The Rotters have an impressive 75-36 record.

Riverside center fielder Matt Douglas landed a blow when he belted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. It was his 11th home run of the season. With it, the Rotters took a 3-0 lead.

After the game, Riverside manager Hermenegildo Fernando applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
