Willie Trevino did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Aurora Suns from being beaten, 2-1, to the Winchester Mountaineers at Mountaineers Park. Trevino threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. Angelo Quezada, now 2-0, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 1 and walking 0. John Lopez was the walk-off hero for Winchester. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mountaineers designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
