Donovan Hits 2 home runs in Mermen Win
The 4-RBI night of third baseman T.J. Donovan helped the Corpus Christi Mermen triumph, 7-3, over the Mesa Razor Sharks. Scott Foote, the winner, goes to 2-6. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, with 4 walks and 5 strikeouts over 6.2 innings. With the win, Corpus Christi goes to 57-55, while the Razor Sharks fall to 54-58.

With Corpus Christi leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Donovan hit a fastball from Oscar Flores for a 2-run home run. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Mermen ahead, 3-0.

"We did the things that it takes to win a game," said Donovan.
