Cougars Collect 10-1 Win Versus Washington
|
Cougars right fielder Evan Campbell left his imprint on his team's 10-1 win over the Washington Wildthings. Campbell was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for Rohnert Park in the contest. With the victory, the Cougars record stands at 47-62.
Rohnert Park used a clutch at-bat from Kyle Nash to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Cougars ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"I just tried to put the barrel on it," said Nash.
