Millionaires Handed 8-3 Loss by Suns

The Aurora Suns trumped the Alcoa Millionaires, 8-3, at Suns Field. Aurora second baseman Victor Vanegas was terrific. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Jon Dye got the win, improving to 10-6. He held the Millionaires to 2 runs on 4 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 3. The losing streak for Alcoa has now reached 4 games.
Adam Peterson helped his team take an early lead with a 3-run home run. It came in the first inning, making the score 5-0, Suns.
"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Alcoa manager .
