Dread Kings Get 7th Straight Win with Late Rally
The Boise Dread Kings withstood a fine game by Mescalero designated hitter Jason Woody at Ballpark of Boise, to upend the Chiefs, 9-8. Woody went 1-1 with a home run and 4 walks, while scoring 2 times. Boise reliever Joey Byler picked up the win, while Luis Mora took the loss for Mescalero. Luke Getts earned the save for Boise, his 12th.

Boise took the lead, 9-7, on Cesar Berrios's 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Mescalero pitcher Luis Mora in the bottom of the eighth.

"The harder you work," said Berrios, "the luckier you get."
