Jason Thompson brought his A-game to help Rohnert Park defeat the Boise Dread Kings, 4-1. The last-place Cougars are now 43-65, the Dread Kings 62-46.

Rohnert Park took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Evan Campbell hit a run-scoring double to make it 2-1, Cougars.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Rohnert Park skipper Josh Dix.
