Pitcher Brad Bixby was sensational for the Winchester Mountaineers in his team's 4-0 triumph over the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers. Bixby earned the win. Now 78-27, the Mountaineers have won 10 games in a row.

Bixby tossed 92 pitches over 6.2 innings to clinch the win for the Mountaineers. The right-hander allowed just 1 hit, while racking up 8 strikeouts in the game.

"Brad had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Winchester manager Mitchell Young.
