Thanks in large part to shortstop Dillon Reed, the Alcoa Millionaires beat the Traverse City Bears, 9-2. Reed went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Adam Werth notched his 4th save in 4 chances. The triumph makes Alcoa 36-67.

Reed had a key at-bat for Alcoa in the bottom of the first. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and gave Alcoa an early 2-0 lead.
